There was a reunion committee meeting this afternoon and we covered a LOT of territory.
It is June 1 and we are 10 weeks out from the reunion! Thanks to the 150 people who got their funds in before the price increased. We can go to the Marriott with our last payment in good form next week and, hopefully, another 50 people will decide to come to the reunion to assure that all of the extras can be covered.

Yes, the price went to $125 per person for the entire weekend today. There are still some rooms left in the block at the Marriott and the block of rooms will be available until mid-July. We have to give the Marriott our final attendance and food prep numbers to our coordinator by July 29.

There have been several questions about dress – Friday night is a casual meet and greet cocktail party and Saturday is a little more formal a dinner buffet/dance – the main thing is to be comfortable! There is a golf outing planned and there will be a band brunch on Sunday, August 14.  All of the information about these extra events are on the website – www.lhsclassof1971.com.

The Friday event will run from 6P to 9P. If you want to get a group of your friends together to go to dinner, there will be time for that! We recommend that you have reservations for any place you may want to go because Friday nights mean packed bars and restaurants in Lexington.
The Saturday event is runs between 6P and 11P.  We are looking forward to seeing you in August!
